This forecasting software will assist to diagnose herd level BVD by using the epidemiological risk factors. This software works on the basis of epidemiological risk factors associated with the occurrence of Bovine viral diarrhea in Tamilnadu. After the risk factors are input, the software will suggest suitable measures to be taken to reduce the disease.
This application will give insight into livestock disease occurrence at the herd level. Epidemiological risk factors like temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and rainfall are being used to forecast livestock diseases. This software will alert the stockholders well in advance to take precautions to avoid livestock diseases.
